Gerald Squires

Gerald Squires, Holyrood, is a recipient of the Ted Drover Award from the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council in recognition of his contribution to the visual arts and cultural life of the Province. He is a founding board member of the Artists' Coalition of Newfoundland and Labrador and is part of the Cognac group of Newfoundland Artists exhibiting in France. Gerald Squires was conferred the degree of "Doctor of Letters" by Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1992.

Exhibits include: Memorial University of Newfoundland Art Gallery, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Canada; New York City, U.S.A. and London, England.
