attacks during Queen Anne's War.

the cod stocks of Trinity Bay.

Dorset Eskimo Site

Artifacts have been discovered
dating to approximately 500A.D.
and it is believed that these
people camped on Dildo Island for
the purpose of seal hunting.

Beothuk Indian Encampment

John Guy's journal of 1612,
suggests evidence of Beothuks
living on Dildo Island.
