"LEGGE, Edith Martha - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 26, 2002, Edith Martha (Jackson) Legge of Cavendish, age 88 years, the youngest daughter of Jabez and Emily (Rowe) Jackson. Left with fond and loving memories, her husband of 66 years, Gordon; son Hayward (Ruby), Cavendish; daughters Hazel (David Legge), Cavendish; Emily (Vincent Rodgers), Paradise; Ruby (Ronald Strickland), Cavendish; and special daughter, Rosalind, Cavendish; nine grandchildren, Geoff, Brian, Janice, Karen, Wayne, Shawn, Bobby, Gary and Dwayne; eight precious great-grandchildren, Adam, Cory, Emily, David, Jack, Jessica, Catherine and Sarah; sister-in-law Emmie Bryant, Heart's Content; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Cavendish United Church from 10 a.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. Interment at Cavendish United Church Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Cavendish United Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo. 'What we keep in memory is ours forever'."
