"BISHOP, Solomon (Sol) Harvey Jr. -- Passed away at Carbonear General Hospital on April 27, 2006, Solomon Bishop, age 51, of Heart's Delight. Predeceased by mother, Esther Bishop, August 4, 2000. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, wife Geraldine (Geri) Bishop (nee Eddy); children: Tracy (Roger) Lundrigan, Lloyd Minister, Sask., Denyse Bishop (Jocelyn Snook), St. John's, Michelle Bishop (Kenny Stead), Lloyd Minister, Sask, and Brittany; grandchildren: Chelsea, Michael, Jasmine; father, Solomon Bishop Sr.; sisters: Ina Monroe (Brian) Trenton, Linda Bishop (Clyde), Green Bay, Barb Parsons (Eric), Cavendish, Freda Trumble (Wayne), Trenton, Nellie Parsons (John), Lab City, Marg Pollett (Allan), New Harbour, Rhodie Bishop (Steve), Heart's Delight; brothers: Jim, Trenton, Vic (Sarah), Cavendish, Sterling (Elsie), Vancouver, Howard (Juanita), Goose Bay, Ron (Denise), Brampton; parents-in-law, George and Viney Eddy, Heart's Delight; sisters-in-law: Pearl Mercer (Vern), Heart's Delight, Karen Jackson (Ken), Cavendish; brothers-in-law: Sid Eddy (Barbara Ann), Alberta, Brian Eddy (Amber), Alberta; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Matthew's Church Hall, Heart's Delight-Islington. Visitation Friday 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Saturday 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Heart's Delight. Interment at Bethel United Cemetery, Heart's Delight. In lieu of flowers, donation in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or The Canacer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne.
