"SIMMONS, Morgan J. - Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital, Morgan J. Simmons of Greens Harbour, in his 81st year. Predeceased by sister Hattie Howse, 1993. Leaving to mourn wife Eleanor of 55 years; daughter Lorna (friend David); son Glen (Lillian); grandchildren: Melanie, Julie, Scott, Paul and Britany; great-granddaughter Morgan; sisters: Annie Anstey (Charlie), St. John`s, Lillian Peach (Fletcher); brothers: Maxwell (Melvina), Bruce (Pearl), Greens Harbour and Vernon (Olive), St. John`s; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Warren`s Funeral Home, Dildo, 2-4 pm and 7-9:30 pm on Saturday. A private family Memorial Service will be held at Warren`s Funeral Home on Sunday, January 21. No flowers by request. Anyone wishing to do so may make donations in his memory to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Clare`s Mercy Hospital."
