"HARRIS, Walter - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, August 13, 1999, Walter Harris, of Seal Cove (Formerly of Corner Brook) aged 72 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Lee, his adopted parents, Henrietta and William Hart, his mother and step-father, Belle and Gordon Legge, and his father Walter Harris. Leaving to mourn his two brothers: Arch Legge (Mary), Gordon Legge (Millicent) both of Corner Brook; sister: Etta Nelson (Pat) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a special niece: Lee Coates (Jim) and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Visitation on Sunday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral to take place on Monday, August 16th at 2 p.m. at St. Peter`s Church, Upper Gullies. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to a charity of one`s choice."

"CHISLETT, Clayton R. - Passed away on Monday, June 8, 1998 at the Health Sciences Center, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Clayton R. Chislett, Floral Manager at Holland Nurseries, aged 51 years. Predeceased by his mother, Mary (1989). Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife and best friend, Rosalind (nee Kiss); his father, Jacob of Islington; four devoted sisters: Patsy (Mrs. Max Bishop), Cavendish, Doris (Mrs. Al Mills), St. John`s, Audrey (Mrs. Rick Williams), Squamish, B.C., Sandra (Glen Jackson), St. John`s; one brother, Ted (Annie), Islington; cherished mother-in-law Mary Kiss, St. John`s; sister-in-law Judy (Mike) Ryan, St. John`s; two brothers-in-law: Jerry (Judy) Kiss, Hamilton and Gordie (Jackie) Kiss, St. John`s; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation on Tuesday, June 9 from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. and Wednesday, June 10 from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 11, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Thomas` Anglican Church.
