JLB, this entry and several before and after do not have a date listed, the closest preceeding is dated Aug 11, 1838 and the closest following is dated Nov 10, 1838. Presumably Joseph was baptised between these dates.

BURIAL:

1. Per the NGB's transcription of St. Paul's Anglican Parish, Trinity, Trinity Bay Records of Burials for 1831 - 1841:

RECORD # 318
NAME Joseph Maidment
ABODE Trinity
WHEN BURIED 27th October 1839
AGE 5 months

JLB, likely this is same person, if baptised/born in August 1838 then would be age 15 months by time of this death record. Possible that there is an error in transcription. Original should be consulted for accuracy of all dates.
M iii William Thomas MAIDMENT 1, 2 was born 3 about Jul 1841 and was christened 4 after Aug 1841 in Trinity, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. was buried 5 on Mar 07 1843 in Trinity, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland.

JLB, this entry and several before and after do not have a date listed, the closest preceeding is dated Aug 1841 and the closest following is dated Nov 7, 1841. So presumably William was baptised between these dates. The (Wi) portion of his name appears to have been added by the transcriber, I can think of no other possibilities.

Warren SHEPPARD

Doris Hilda WORTHMAN [Parents] 1, 2, 3 was born 4 on Mar 08 1934 in St. Anthony, Newfoundland. She died before 2005. Doris married Warren SHEPPARD.

BIOGRAPHY:

1. Per her Generations CanConnect Profile:

"Mrs. Doris Hilda Sheppard - Doris Hilda Sheppard was born March 8, 1934 in St. Anthony, Newfoundland. She left St. Anthony as a young child and moved to Heart's Delight with her parents. In 1951 she moved to Lark Harbour, Bay of Islands, Newfoundland where she married and worked as a teacher until 1967. In 1970, she moved back to Heart's Delight where she still lives today. From 1978-1989 she worked as a crab plant worker. Doris' hobbies include quilt making, reading, crocheting, and camping. She does not use the Internet.

Her most important memory occurred September 4, 1980 at the Arts & Culture Center in St. John's Newfoundland, when her daughter graduated from the General Hospital School of Nursing. This event was so important to her because she was very proud as a parent to watch her child achieve her goal.

Doris' most treasured object is a hockey medal given to her by her grandson Jason on her anniversary January 22, 1995. Watching her grandson play hockey is something she always enjoyed. Jason's hockey team won the medal and on that day he gave Doris the medal. On the back was engraved "To Nan and Pop on your Anniversary." Doris was so happy he gave it to her. She plans to give the medal back to her grandson in years to come so he will have this memory of his grandparents." (By Matthew Smith)
