"DAVIS, Yvonne (nee George) - Passed away on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, at the Carbonear General Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer, Yvonne Davis, of New Harbour, aged 60 years. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Edith and brother Dave. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories husband Edward; children Ted (Gail), David (Dale), Wade (Karen), Diane (Lorne Day), and Craig (Sonia); precious grandchildren Terri-Beth, Blair and Laura; sisters Nel, Helen (Jethro), Linda (Dave) and Verley (Max); brothers Ern (Evelyn), and Dick (Marg); sister-in-law Marg George; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Warren`s Funeral Home, Dildo. Funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Trinity South Corps on Saturday, Feb., 3, 2001 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army, trinity South Corps, or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre. 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant...
