"ROWE, Mary J. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear, on Sunday, May 31, 1998, Mary Rowe of Whiteway, aged 88 years. Predeceased by husband Randell and granddaughter Eileen Metcalf. Leaving to mourn son Reg (Cora); daughter Joyce (Carl Smith); grandsons: Boyd (Joan), Wade (Marion), Ross Rowe, Paul (Trudy), David (Wanda) Smith; granddaughter Linda (Claude) Drover; grandson-in-law Fraser Metcalf; thirteen great-grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Resting at St. Andrew`s United Church, Whiteway with visiting from Tuesday: June 2nd 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Wednesday: 10 a.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrew`s United Church, Whiteway, on Wednesday, June 3rd at 2 p.m. Interment to follow United Church Cemetery, Whiteway. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrew`s United Church, Whiteway or a charity of one`s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Warren`s Funeral Home, Dildo."
