"HYNES, Dinah (nee Sooley, Day) - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, August 17th, 1994 of Old Shop, Trinity Bay, age 91 years. Left to mourn three daughters and two sons: Vivian (Philip) Pritchett, Bishops Falls, Elizabeth (George) Brinson, Old Shop, Elsie (Bruce) Carpenter, Little Heart's Ease, Boyde Day (Olive), South Dildo, Lawrence Day (Rosalie), Mackinsons; one brother Maxwell Sooley, Bishops Falls; two step-sons: Edgar Hynes (Verna), Old Shop, William Hynes; one step-daughter Julia Mouland; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren, a large number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo. The funeral service will take place from the Holy Spirit Church, Old Shop on Friday, August 19th at 2 p.m. Internment at the Anglican Cemetery, Old Shop. Donations in her memory may be made to the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear."
