Attention parents of late book 1 or book 2, violin or cello....... The NSO Prep Strings (orchestra instruction for children at the early stages of reading music), is offered by the Newfoundland Symphony Youth Orchestra and is now under the direction of Pemi Paull (violist in the Atlantic String Quartet). They meet on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 at St. David's Church. Both Suzuki and non-Suzuki children will have an opportunity to play simple orchestral arrangements and have a chance to perform for family and friends throughout the year. The cost is very reasonable at $135.00 a year.
