Suzuki Talent Education Program

WELCOME!
This is the website of the Suzuki Talent Education Program in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Suzuki Talent Education is an music-education philosophy by which teachers and parents help children learn to play an instrument by the same method that they learn to speak their native language. In St. John's, we have about 100 violin, viola and cello students who follow the Suzuki curriculum; some also learn Newfoundland fiddling or perform in the award-winning junior or senior orchestras. We host the Atlantic Canada Suzuki Institute every June. Member families and local teachers: this site aims to be your primary reference to the goings-on of STEP. All schedules and reference material for the 2007/2008 year will be published here when available. Atlantic Canada Suzuki Institute (ACSI) 2008
This is STEP's "Summer Camp", an intensive week of music education that'll leave you motivated and inspired.MAY 10 is the Registration Deadline.
Institute Dates: June 30 - July 4
Camp takes place at St. Paul's Junior High, Newfoundland Drive, St. John's, Newfoundland.
The main sessions are aimed at current STEP families but the Early Music Education component is open to the public.
Places are limited though so if you are interested we suggest you register early.
