The Sights Before Christmas is a highly entertaining children's show written and performed by well-known children's entertainer Beni Malone. Designed to fit a variety of Christmas venues, Sights takes children into the fantasy world of Barnaby Doyle, a young child who is so excited about Christmas that he cannot sleep. In truth, Barnaby has a plan. He wants to stay awake all night so that he will not miss one second of Christmas magic. Barnaby is a fun loving kid who, like most children this time of year, is just about to come out of his skin with excitement. However, as much as Barnaby tries to keep his eyes open, he cannot stay awake. As Barnaby drifts into a Christmas carol slumber, we hear a ruckus of sound.

Old Father Christmas enters, and in a series of acrobatic and skilful antics he takes us into the magical world of Barnaby Doyle's dream. These dreams are full of madcap Mummers, the Turkish Knight, the bold-but-not-so-bright Sir George, his faithful horse Fred and, of course, the wild travelling medicine man, Dr. Pepperoni… all played by Malone.

The Sights Before Christmas will enchant audiences with an array of theatrical and circus skills from fire juggling to devil sticking a giant candy cane, and from Christmas Caroling to unicycling and acrobatics. It is a heat warming show to be shared by the entire family.

Barnaby's magical Christmas antics culminates with setting up and decorating a fanciful Christmas tree. When Evergreen, the tree elf, is finished his fairy frolic, Barnaby's dreams have come true. Delighted, he runs through the audience spreading Christmas wishes and magic as he exits.
