Brief November 1997 update: I had a period of trial between June full moon and July full moon which I called a "sovereigns bright" period, referring to the Irish Wild Rover song. The night of July 16 was my worst night of that period, and was the week before full moon, and I drank some alcoholic beverages (which I shouldn't do during waxing moon) and that night I saw in the sky a figure which was about one fifth the height of a full moon and 1/(5*pi) the width of a full moon and shaped like a fish symbol dancing on tail, or a World AIDS day ribbon, or somewhat like an ankh or fleur de lys (lily of the valley), or a hangman's noose saying shape up or else, or a "tie that binds", or the hanging central tassels swirling around descending from the sacred pipe on the cover of the paperback book The Sacred Pipe by Black Elk with Joseph Eppes Brown, or like Noah's dove or an angel or Ezekiel's loop (though I also interpret that as possibly referring to his sun stare if he did one). However the imagery I have thought of that I like best is a dancing sky vagina with stretch marks giving birth to a new age. I think I saw it a second time, slightly dimmer, slightly smaller, between July full moon and August new moon but forget the date. (2009 update: I now think the figure I saw was a steeply ascending plane with lights on at night.)
Now since this was a gradually built up trial period that did not have a sudden onset the week before full moon, I assigned a low probability to a prediction of a December97 pre-new-moon high and indeed none occurred. However before mid-December full moon I had a week of slight mixed down emerging from inside good feelings and also a fair bit of occasional invisible skullcap area pressure which I had to clear by putting my hands to that area and focussing and linking it away. Towards full moon there were also some annoying late night third eye tendril probes. However this did not quite fade by full moon, for the first time in 5.5 solar years, and I had a bit of partially self-instigated problems for two nights after full moon, from staying up late attempting supposed one-way psychic broadcast relays with the supposed help of LOVE. But I have decided these supposed one-way broadcasts of changes (by psychic means) by this non-psychic are just a practice way for the individual to remember trains of thought for later interactive debate and for ease of oral tradition memory retention and for refinement of points on supposed listeners.
Anyway, from the pre-full-moon slightly shaky (if I had touched alcohol then I know I would have had more problems) period I predict that if the sunspot cycle is not low, say sunspot number above 50, and there is a M-class or at least C-class solar flare 5-11 days before May new moon, then I have a chance of one of these inspired highs beginning 3-8 days before new moon and ending preferably by new moon. However, due to the post-full-moon sleep-deprived effects noted above, I do not assign it nearly as high a probability as the one of Aug/Sept94 which I predicted on sci.med.psychobiology and other groups in spring of 1994, both for the reason mentioned above and since we are still just climbing out of the low of the solar sunspot cycle, like the "cremation grounds" in Hinduism. (And no pre-May-new-moon high occurred and I now, May 2001, don't expect another high until late 2002 or early 2003.)
After the July 16 incident I went back to the six lithium pills a day that I was on from fall 1991 to July 1995. Since then there were no major problems of any kind. However I got the idea after the "sovereigns bright" incident that then the "landlady's eyes would open wide with delight". First I though just one eye opening (new moon to full moon period) was needed for global change to occur; then two, then I kind of gave up (March 2005: temporarily) on effecting instantaneous changes by shamanic wishes. But now (March 2005: that must have been written in 1997 and turned out to be incorrect) I realize from the 1-2-3-4-5 in another Irish thinking song Rocky Road to Dublin that perhaps the special moon (with Asian-story-like hare in the moon) is the December full moon, so that the landlady must have five eyes to open. This lines up with my prediction above except that if I have a high it would be approaching the new moon after the December full moon. So I am partly hoping for a return for all from my efforts by full moon, partly for a creative high later in the month, and partly that certain women muses who have influenced me will have a good December full moon. (I no longer expect release from the low years to come at a full moon but expect it to come at a last quarter in late 2002 or early 2003.) (March 2005: now I still think it could come at a full moon.)
